Il Sole 24 ORE is an economic daily newspaper that came into life on November 9th 1965, after the merger of IL SOLE (a daily newspaper established in 1865) and 24 ORE (a daily newspaper founded in 1946).
In the course of it´s age-old history, Il Sole 24 ORE has experienced a steady increase in circulation and readership and is at present the most widely read daily newspaper with a focus on economy, legislation and regulations, as well as finance, in Europe while it ranks third on a world wide scale.
